The new Rendered set...

For this one, i took Steady Edd's Auricom Lap set and took it apart... and then rebuilt the tracks into this Rendered mix :D Edd's style is spontaneous and energetic... i wanted to see if i could create a different atmosphere, my atmosphere, with the same tune box... a new challenge :) Some that he used, i didnt, and vice versa... but the essence is the same...

Rendered 19 starts off pretty calm, absolutely LOVE Falko Brocksieper's "Never Mind"... things build up, get darker, more twisted... Daniele Papini providing some excellent depth... Love Orlo's "Boxed Cherokee Girl"...

The darkness takes over for the second half, a particular deep drop curtesy of Milton Channel's "Honeycomb... then the light fights back, Deepchild leading the way. thngs calm and then i decided to finish up with one of my all time favourites... the classic Hooj "Movin' Thru Your System"... despite its age, it kicks the ending into shape and stamps out the light once and for all...

It all floats away on a peculiar riff... where to, no-one knows...

Another Breakbeat set from me :)
Admittedly,i've missed "Broken 2" but i'll get round to that eventually...im putting this one up because its ready AND i really enjoyed this set...i felt like sharing it!
Again,the mix is compiled using tracks i got from my good friend,who plays a slightly harder,tech-ier sound...i like it,i just never think to buy them :D
I forget the names used,i've lost the paper with the list on,but when i've got the titles and such,i'll edit this. I remember there's a couple of Hybrid remixes in there,and a belting track from Rael Borg,called "Out Of My Mind" which i just love...an absolute driver of a tune!

Been a while,but i finally got another mix for you peeps :)
Ironically,as summer starts disappearing here in the UK,i post up this offering,Rendered Summer...
I just fancied having a dig through the older records in my collection,and seeing if i could get a "summery" feeling set together!
I had fun with this one,and i think it works nicely...i dont remember the full tracklisting,but if i do in the future,i will amend this description :)
Covered a few styles in this one,and a mix up from some oldies such as Medway,Tilt and a early BT/Deep Dish collaboration to some stuff from the new talents of Jim Rivers,Dale Anderson and Anil Chawla :)

A recent addition to my Rendered series. This one is a nod to where i started really,when i first started mixing,it was all about the tribal rhythms,that Lawler-esque sound. Whilst i now have a wide and varied liking of genres these days,i thought it'd be cool to do a set in my own way,with a tribal sound running through it.
