About 10 years ago, located somewhere in the depths of North East England Deep down music’s very own deep house maestro, Rory Cochrane, began to dabble in a little deck wizardry at parties with friends which set in motion his love for that deep soulful beat. His love for House music continued to develop after becoming a regular spark in the crowds of the North East’s seminal House music rave joints such as, To The Manor Born, Shindig and The Sugar Shack. Rory’s early influences were generally the whole West coast house scene, in particular the early Naked music vibe, Dubtribe sound system and Miguel Migs, other of Rory’s faves and influences include the likes Jimpster, Lovebirds, Vincenzo, & Dj Ino, Rory continues to be a major player for Deep Down Music and behind the scenes is currently involved some interesting production projects with Deep Down Music’s Rob Oxley.
