Here's more Records from my Dave Holland's collection.  This time it's Acid House, New Beat, Hip House, and some 1992 deep house thrown in there.  Playing these records makes me feel like my favorite internet DJs, ThaMan and Kleez-one as I associate these sounds with them, not me.  I don't go out of my way to collect this stuff but I do enjoy listening to it!

I find some of these records to be a bit of a surprise.  For example track 2 seems to be a more upbeat version of Lords of Acid "I sit on acid", I didn't expect to hear that when I dusted that record off with grooveglide.

Track 11, wow...  I was young when I first heard Gloria Estefan so I didn't think of her tracks as house or dance, I was wrong.

Track 17, Samantha Fox...  Well I remember Samantha Fox from watching MTV as a kid.  I remembered I thought she was cute but I didn't think much of her music.  So hearing this track now with "new ears" was a mindfull.  This is actually an acid house track (or hiphouse...) complete with cords I associate with Maurice "This is acid".  The vocals themselves aren't about sex which I thought they were previously, its instead about going out to a rave.  Another surprise is that the hip hop "bullies" from Krush Groove and the Kid & Play movies, Full Force, actually produced this amazing track!

Track 25, my favorite surprise in this set, Paula Abdual "Vibeology", holy cow what a jam!!!  This was an ultimix edit so I doubt this version was actually ultimix's, I'm really curious what mix of this was used in the ultimix edit because it just screams Chi-Town in the best possible way, its deep, loopy, and "in a funky way" for sure!

Track 29 has always had a place in my ears ever since hearing it the first time, Marky Mark (Wahlberg) and The Funky Bunch "Good Vibrations (Bradley Hinkle (Trainwrecking) Remix)" (Ultimix 40) 1990.  It's amazing to see that both Wahlbergs are still popular.  One being in horror movies so discusting they make me want to throw up and the other being in a movie where he smokes up with a teddy bear.  Crazy!  Unfortunatly this ultimix edit was edited in such a way that it's nearly impossible to mix.  It sounds like it was made on a reel to reel deck like X-102 - Rings of Saturn EP was.

Lastly 30, Brothers In Rhythm "Such A Good Feeling (Insirational Delight Mix)"... WOW, this is a tune!  I remember watching a youtube video of this where it was played at an event where people were going mad to this.  This was such a good tune I had to do my first cheesy rewind.

Anyway this is a nice mix, I like how it came out.

N-JOI!

Speaking of N-JOI, N-JOI's "Anthem" is actually featured in the game Grand Theft Auto V.  My jaw dropped when I noticed that!

Tremendous music! Heart forces to fade! I don't have enough words to describe those images that associate with each new explosion of a brain. It is immortal music! It would seem it from the past and at the same time it already future music! Thanks to the author the huge!!!
