Antony Parris..... History, usually a good place to start with anything belonging to another time. Some may say this is someone who shared the same space as David Bowie, theatrically-wise, and with similar ideas for on-stage presence and presentation, without copying.
The origins of the ideas date back before the actual time of introduction into a stage-show. I'd like to think of Antony as a combining of spirits and probable influences. Very Egyptian, Ancient Greek and Roman more than modern as Bowie was. Still with a space-age element though, without being 'Ground Control To Ziggy Sane'.
A word about the graphic. It isn't a totally random idea around the eyes. Those are meant to be representations of birds of prey, like seahawks or eagles. One is handing across some peace-offering to the other. Maybe male to female, or vice versa. (You could even add the alternatives.)
Is this an answer to Antonia Parris, and her mix? Yes, and, No. I shall leave it there, similar to the way Antony Parris loved ambiguity and mystery. Imagination is a wonderful form of expression, experience and experimentation.
