Before the set gets into its own, and after it's done, there are added-in spoken sections. The words belong to the voice of Elizabeth WIlson, recorded circa 1971, when she was about 89 years old. An incredible woman should you be curious enough to head off and find out.
Ever since I first heard these words, they have remained with me. They tell one small story. The way it is, as it was then. "Legend Days are over. There will be no more."
Of course, when you live in another part of the world, you get to wonder what that's about. Then a few things began to fall into place. History used to be one of my favourite subjects at school. It's one of those things that carries forward into work I've undertaken. I found sense in those words to use elsewhere.
When you think about it, that is quite a profound thing to say.
The mix came about once I listened to those words again. The pieces form a journey. I think anyone looking for something (perhaps different) to meditate upon may find this could suit them.
