This is linked to the previous set uploaded yesterday. It's sourced from the same core of tracks. Also, both originate from a much longer set I did, of around 8 hours. (Too long for on here, or anywhere!) No, I did not cut, paste or edit that. I pulled the sequence of tunes for each set from that, and replayed them. Again, no edits of any kind used. Both were done in one take for each set.
There's a theme running through this mix. I thought I'd create something to use as, perhaps, a soundtrack while meditiating or going off doing some astral travelling or projection. Maybe there's a construct from dreaming used too. Moving from 'scene' to 'scene' isn't always a clean wipe or fade from one to the next. It sounds disjointed but, it is very definitely not out of sync.
Some clever-clogs like to catch DJs out. They bring in another percussion track that's not directly with the main beats package. (Criss cross counter rhythms to break up the beat.) Others use a bassline that's been shifted to come on the back beat, or off beat, anywhere that is counter to the main kick. Some guys panic because they think they've got a dodgy track or they're bringing it in on the wrong beat. It's this sonic trick they've fallen for, nothing more. I've stayed with it, used it, and for the same reason it was created - to break things up.
