All I've done here is grab a batch of new tunes and thrown them into the pot. Whatever comes out the other end....? It becomes something of a melting pot of ideas, across styles, based around a notion of where in the BPM spectrum it could sit. In places, I've gone right back to an older style of bringing one tune into another. In others, whatever feels right is right. And there is still room for something done on the spur of the moment.
Preferably, I try to keep it spontaneous by not looking forward too much beyond the next track as one is playing. That is, unless I've an idea of a journey, musically. In this case, I've gone with the flow, from one track into another, irrespective of which genre any tracks are.
I can't understand why so many close off their range of music. You're slapping on a pair of audio-blinkers. You could be looking where the finger is pointing rather than at the finger. That's from 'Enter The Dragon' - It's also from somewhere else. When all you know, and see, is a movie, what are you missing? A whole lot in fact!
