Kids just wanna have fun!
This series is me doing a "BB Presents.....", which clearly means I am not the DJ on the decks. I'll also point out it is plural as there are teams at play with these 3 mixes. Girls versus Boys, for their own entertainment? You don't know them like I know them. They are fiercely competitive, as long as it stays fun. And so, I have to be the judge & jury, according to them. They made their own rules. I did get to help though, or else this would still be in the discussion staged. There are Mums involved. Who decided on the music? Who chose the name? Who did the clock watching and referee'd the event?
RULES - One style of music for everyone. Aim for 12 tunes maximum. (That's 4 tunes each for teams of 3.) An hour as a target to aim for.
To stop arguments, there'd be one choosing the tunes, one playing them and one mixing. Then after 4 tunes, everyone rotates. That gives everyone a fair chance to choose, to play and to mix.
