Soul Yoga

Instead of using CDJs, I've used Native Instruments S8 + 2 additional D2 units, working with Traktor (as I usually do) for my library of tracks. Also, this allows me to use Remix sets and/or STEMS tracks. Where some may go for a higher profile for additional sounds (probably to prove that they are doing that), my route is to be more subtle. I prefer subliminal sounds for various reasons, and not, as some would have you become paranoid over with the inclusion of hidden messages. (That does have a long, and old, story to it. Best left alone. Really.)

Where this was recorded, and what it was part of, does have a story. If it's interesting or not depends on which side of the invites you are. When you have sisters like mine (younger by several years aided and abetted by another, slightly younger than me)), they love to play tricks on brothers (there are 2 others besides me). All is wrapped up in a saying they have. Brothers do that for their Sisters. That means, whatever they decide, that's what brothers will do, or else. (The 'or else' is a promise not a threat. Figure out the difference on your own!)

So, when they arrive en-masse (is that correct spelling), PANIC! Short version, I got taken to a special reunion, in Germany, at so short notice that it was allowing time to react or respond. Of course, there is a link to me other than meets your eyes. Another short version, the outcome is this set, which is part of a collection involving others who DJ within my family. Anyhow, I know a lot of people were as surprised as I was, and what a time we had when I'd completed what I'd been taken there for.

BTW - If it's Friday, it must be...... Where are we? Where are we going..... next? Night out in Amsterdam!!
