Dip into the minefield..... of my cobweb cupboard. Partially completed tracks - Ideas, abandoned. Whatever the reason, these just got lost in the mystery of that cupboard and what else it has hidden away.
The first tracks began as ideas to demonstrate particular sounds, and how certain effects change their character. You'll hear Prophet 5, OB-8 (and others in that family), JX8P, Fantom.... amongst others covering synths. Also, I've brought in some Fairlight, EMU, Akai & Roland Sampler sounds. Box it all off with a variety of drums and percussion from, mostly, very old sources and machines.
They've been made purely for a bit of fun over Christmas & New Year. Guess the tune, sort of thing. I've got loads more I could've included but, there's serious prizes to be won. No one's having an easy ride. Wait until you hear what I've done with others. More extreme with voice programming, for starters!
The final track is one of those ideas that's gone as far as it can in this present form. There's a journey mapped out, even so, that can still be changed. I tend to over-cook certain ideas before stripping them back to bare bones. You never know. It could still end up as We Wish You A Merry Christmas..... And A Bonkers New Year! Let's go back to Hardcore, eh? Or, early Rave?
