Just when I thought it was safe to catch a nap, who nudges me? Ruthie sure has got the bug now! I think it's got a lot to do with many things being swept off her shoulders. Jobs she's wanted doing for some time, and things like that. Anyway! Here she goes again!
You never wonder about who's picking out the best tunes. Whatever fits to make a set work is about the only rule there is. There's always a high turnover of tunes in the pool at any point in time. There's always a wide choice of styles too. To be told, "We are playing through these", doesn't come as a surprise. The inclusion of 'we' is normal with Ruthie.
Someone has finally discovered a secret. I'd say what it is but it'd not be a secret any longer.
The pair of us have not had the sunny summer escapes most have had. That's mostly down to me (my state of health really). About the only escape we've had has been to the coast, for a day out. That wasn't on a sunny day, weather-wise. Certainly sunny for us, in other ways. That's where the set takes us back to. Also, we've heard all the others talk about their holiday experiences. and those are very definitely sunny.
That's the mood we were in.
