Mighty Soul a.k.a. Matjaž Motnikar was born on august 19th, in Trbovlje, Slovenia.

His interest in music first started in 1999, when he first heard Umek playin' in local club K4. He decided to start his own career and bought his first Numark CDN22.

He began with harder styles like techno and progressive sounds. The strongest influence on his music have the legendary DJ's like Umek, Ritchie Hawtin, Terry Francis, The Timewriter, Silicon Soul, Terry Lee Brown Jr., Kevin Yost etc.

He found that music will be a big part of his life. Experimenting different sounds, soon found out that all kinds of house music are his passion.

Since 2001 til nowdays he played in several local clubs, pivate parties and open airs in Slovenia .

At the moment he's playing tech and deep house and is always open to all fresh ideas. He's preforming on Traktor with Behringer BCDJ 3000 and Abelton live and still waiting for his first real gig at club. He's first made his own track last year and several tracks still in making.
