Short Bio about the Guest DJ
Scott Whichello is a DJ/ Music producer from Leeds, England. His musical inspirations started at an early age. His father Ray was a soul dj in London in the late 70's and raised Scott with the sweet sounds of Earth Wind & Fire, Chic & Stevie Wonder to name but a few. Scotts love for House began in the late 80's and early 90's when he started clubbing and was a regular at Hard Times..Muirfield, Music Factory..Leeds and Gatecrasher at Sheffield.
The combination of his early soul roots and the modern beats of sounds from the likes of Masters At Work, Victor Simonelli, Mr Fingers & Frankie Knuckles made Soulful House his musical passion. Scott created Soulful Evolution the weekly YouTube show in November 2011. The show features the hottest promos and new releases in soulful house all in a fresh two hour weekly mix show.
The YouTube show has become an institution within the soulful house world, being well supported by labels, artists and a worldwide audience. Soulful Evolution has over 4400 weekly YouTube subscribers and over 4600 Likes on Facebook and is helping to promote the future of soulful house. Scott also works for the wonderful soulful house label Solid Ground Recordings as online manager.
