Bomb Shel is a multi-genre female DJ, radio host, audio/video producer and musician living in Portland, Oregon. A corporate radio veteran, she's spent more than two decades in broadcasting, working for Clear Channel and Entercom for a combined 21 years. She's spent 10 years in the film industry, both in front of and behind the camera.Her production in film and television have earned her credits on KPTV Fox 12 and KRCW in Portland, OR. In 2012, she produced a $250,00 feature length B-movie with Cheezy Flicks Productions titled Stripperland, staring Daniel Baldwin and featuring the legendary Lloyd Kaufman. As a licensed ASCAP producer, her credits include commercial production for clients such as Comcast, AT&T, Goodwill, Spirit Mountain Casino and more.Her radio career began as a vinyl DJ and audio producer, literally splicing tape. If you know what a grease pencil is, than you're probably as old as she. Cart machines, anyone? Her posts in broadcasting have since ranged from Music Director to Assistant Program Director. As an on-air talent and Community Service Director for multiple FM frequencies, she's helped raise more than $4 million dollars for charity.From 2000 to 2003 she co-hosted a syndicated radio show (The RadioMen with Luna Moon) for Clear Channel from her home in the woods of North Idaho. The show was nominated for Radio & Records Morning Show of the Year for three consecutive years. In 2005, as on-air talent and Marketing Director, she helped launch one of the nation's most successful variety hits stations, 97.1 Charlie FM. Beginning in 2010, she served as Marketing Project Manager for Entercom Portland's six stations. In 2012, Bomb left the corporate world to produce her own EDM show, The Spunderground.Bomb is the only female DJ in Portland to host a long-running club residency. She started Dirty Wednesday's in 2010 at Dirty Nightlife in Portland, and now mixes topless 12 hours a week at The Golden Dragon. In addition to spinning at raves in Portland and Seattle for Blue Sphere, GBE (Ground Breaking Events), One Eleven, CMP and more, she has also produced dozens of events as co-owner of Pulsar Productions. After relinquishing her percentage of ownership in the company, she started PLURSAR (Peace Love Unity Respect Sobriety and Raving), a support group dedicated to the growth of PLUR and a drug-free scene.An Oklahoma native and life long musician, Bomb moved to Portland because she was accepted into the Portland State University opera program. For almost a decade, she fronted her live band, The Big Package on bass and vocals. The band performed at notable festivals including The Rose Festival, The Bite of Oregon, Portland's Gay Pride Parade and Brewfest, and has been on stage at historic venues such as The Crystal Ballroom and The Roseland. In addition to the bass, Bomb also plays the sax, performing live alongside house and DNB DJ's. She's played the piano for more than 30 years.She earned her degree at the American Broadcasting School in OKC in 1990. Afterward, Bomb went on to earn an Associate of Science Degree from North Idaho College, her Bachelors in Business Management from American Intercontinental University in 2008, and will complete her Masters in Marketing in 2014.
