bubbles within

A good friend of mine used to write poetry. She was really good and about 60% of her work was published, but she hadn’t written anything in 14 years or so. I decided to catalyze her creativity by offering a challenge, she writes a poem, I do the concomitant mix. She took up the challenge which I have included below.

The mix is Progressive House and I tried to match feeling & emotion with motion and time relating to the poem. Hope you enjoy…...

'bubbles within’

Alone, my heart beats slow.

Everything my own, yet nothing but bones.

Slowly the beat takes over, over and over.

Rhythm and rhyme become intwine.

Alone, my heart beats, no longer slow.

Deep resounding beat.

As the pace quickens, my pulse thickens.

Everything dispersed, only thoughts immersed.

My mind fleeing to thoughts pleasing.

Body and mind, finally complete.

The journey starts.

One beat after beat, body becomes heat.

Mind becomes fluid, thoughts lucid.

Let go, stop and just flow.

Passion and pain become gain.
