Yesterday I released my first breaks mix and enjoyed the positive feedback that I received, so I decided to do another one today.
I am relatively new to mixing breaks, so input on how I can improve would be greatly appreciated. Some people seem to care (and many don't) about equipment used so here is the run down: I always use my CDJ 200's, and an Allen & Heath Xone 42 mixer. I have no auto sync or waveforms on my CDJ's. This mix and all my others are done by ear and much practice. The only time I use a laptop, is when I need to run Audacity to record my mixes, or when I run my new tracks through mixed in key. I started using mixed in key in October of 2013. It is by far the best way I have found to organize a large CD collection. It can be very time consuming since I do not use software and controllers to mix with, but well worth the effort. I hope you enjoy this breaks mix and please leave some feedback. Thanks in advance. Matt

djmsee you have really raised the bar for a quality breakbeat mix. your style is your own and yours to perfect. i like what you have done here. dynamic tunes, effortless transitions and various kinds of breaks (beats), kept me engaged throughout the mix. and thanks for giving us pretty much full play on the tracklisting, a good mix should flow. at least that's what I strive for personally in my own work. again thanks for sharing.
