My goal for Digital Visions is to offer respectful remixes and re-edits of classic dance tracks to working DJ's worldwide.
Another song I edited before the turn of the millenium but the mix did not stand the test of time. So I decided at some point I would re-do it.....so here it is....
Back in 1985 John Luongo did a pretty sweet mix of this song. However it really wasn't any easier to mix than the original. I could have just reworked that track and made it Friendly, but what's the fun in that?
Took the original long version and re-arranged the parts to create an all new Intro/Outro. I also deleted the original Intro which may seem like blasphemy to some as this is a true classic, but I feel the flow of the song now works far better. Added some effects and a more updated rhythm track.....which actually reminds me a little of the Luongo mix.
I know there are now and always will be a ton of edits/mixes of this song out there, I just hope this one finds some room on a few hard drives....
