I try very hard to not follow any televesion, radio, or newspaper news for the last few years but its very difficult living in NYC which is a major reason I am moving my family to a small town in C.R. this month. Its truly amazing how wonderful some human beings are and how terrible the majority of us can be. That said I was alittle skeptical when I first saw this title even though it was coming from one of my favorite djs on this Earth. Making a mix like this w electronic music is not an easy task. 1 for the lack of spoken word and 2 its a music heavilly based on partying and celebration. After playing it through twice today it confirmed to me that all the respect I have for you as an artist is justified. Your ability to tell a story cannot be matched by anybody especially with the equipment you are using. The decks are like your paintbrush and tracks your colors. You always find a way to blend them together just right to tell the story you want to tell clearly and always in good taste. Regardless of genre or if one likes the music you choose (which I always do) your talent and professionalism cannot be denied. If anyone can be said to dj with class its you brother. Im so glad the judges of this latest contest recognized that by choosing your set as the winner. Sorry for the long comment. Haha lastly this is a nasty 80+ minutes of music that anyone should love and be touched by regardless of the genres they are into. Absolutely incredible work my man. This will be in my playlist for a looong time.
