You set the scene perfectly.........After another failed attempt to catch the killer known only as the hangman, I returned to my local southern state bar. There, I tried drowning away the ghosts from my past, whilst contemplating visiting the wrong type of woman for me after a heavy nights drinking. Eventually, staggering to her door, I embraced her. Along with the filth in my mind. I left her asleep and returned to the slum that I have never called home. (Last Track of Mix) - I was facing myself in the mirror, tired, unshaven and ashamed. Tears flowed like the rain outside, and I was truly lost and alone in what has become my routine of life. A life that I was questioning still had a future….
My friend, there is just so much right with this mix it's hard to know where to begin. It really got me at 14 mins although the intro is beautiful and basically never let go. Tracks on 14 mins, 33 - 40 mins, 50 - 60 mins and the last 2 tracks all were exceptional. In this mix, there is one moment that has to be the greatest piece of music I have heard in a mix for a long time. Right on 36 mins the sympathy hit me like a tidal wave, and although it only lasts a few seconds it blew me away.....As did the whole mix. You say there is more to come. I certainly hope so...................... Simply stunning my friend........
