I digged deep in my record collection and choosed to bring you some of the best tracks of 2004 - as stated before - the best year for Latin-House so far. Taking it straight to your heart with Vol. 22 of the Soulful House series this episode features some great gems from back in days as well as brand new ones! Kickin' it off with DJ Fudge, "Live & Love" is an upliftig feelgood song with enough power to catch a smile on everyone's face. One of my all-time favorites has been re-released recently with brand new mixes: Kiko Navarro feat. Concha Buika "Up To The Sky". I don't know how often i've listened to this song 10 years ago - it set a musical milestone for me. Of course i stick with the Original Mix here. Joey Negro is back with another primetime soulful tune called "Music Speaks Louder Than Words" and Seb Skalski is on a hot streak delivering a brilliant remix of Yohann Levems' "Easy To Love" with Donna Hidalgo on the vocals.

Back with some Swing-House again - in this episode we have some brand new tracks but also some classic jams. James Curd - part of Greenskeepers - shows us that his newer tracks are just as awesome as the 1999 classics "Low And Sweet" or "Dixie Gan". Other great tracks in the episode come from The Drapers (a new combo from Germany), Lusty Leg, Ryan Truman, Smokingroove and Jeff Dougler & Balu. My favorite songs here is the 2003 bootleg "Blu Can Swing" with Blu Cantrell on the vocals and "Hold The Night" from Lyre Le Temps, a great combo from France.

To stay in the tradition summer is the time for a new Summerfunk edition. In Vol. 3 we start with some really laid-back funky tunes with beautiful vocals and melodies. After we past a little disco-ish and latin-ish part the mix turns into a deeper mood in the second half. The Soulful House genre is alive and kickin! Great new jams came out lately, some of them you will hear now. Starting with some deeper tracks we have some great re-interpretations of some known songs here. Wally Callerio aka Poncho Warwick kicks in with a jazzy version of Tainted Love and Pic Schmitz & CFunck's Remix of Marvin Gaye is a hot one too! In the second half we have some new tracks from Lisa Millett, Steven Stone & Marc Evans, the great Michael Procter and the Groove Junkies. Enjoy!

The summer - my favorite time of the year - is approaching so it's about time to bring you into the right mood with the right Latin-House jams ;-) We got some brand new tracks from Giano, Sandy Turnbull and Soul De Marin mixed up with some good old Classics like M. Miller's "Amor Is 2 Luv U" or Brio From Rio's "Just For Me". Fun facts here: The Africanism Allstars is produced Bob Sinclar, for me one of his last good productions. M. Miller covers a great song from "Los Amigos Invisibles" and Audiowhores' "Grenade" was one of their first singles.

This swing-free time has come to an end and this mix was a bit overdue - so here is something special for you: a Swing-House "Jackin" special. A lot of Jackin' House producers are doing Swing-House as well, so it was a about time to mix it up for you. My favorite tracks here are from Jeff Dougler & Balu, Lusty Leg and Biboulakis.

Back with another Soulful House episode - we've reached Vol. 20 already :) - here are some hot & funky tunes for ya. DJ Meme is back in business and delivers after two years another cover of a legendary 70s salsoul song: "Love Is You" by Carol Williams. On the vocals - supported by the DJ Meme Orchestra - Tracey K. Another hot track from DJ Meme is his remix of Bah Samba's "Have You Got Your Bootz On?". This one really works on the dancefloor and brings back happy Disco-House feelings. Corduroy Mavericks are bringing us a brilliant track called "Unsettled" - have you heared the vocals before but you don't know where... check out Kimbra's "Settle Down". Oh, i love this track. But one of the sexiest soulful tracks in 2011 is Rich Earnshaw's "Cry Me A River" and Imogen Ryall on the vocals. Really, i can't stop playing this tune. HOTNESS!

It's time for some Jackin' House beats again. As you heared before in the first mix, jackin' & jazzy House fit very well together. I really like playing this cool stuff at bars & lounges and the people like it too. In this mix we have lots of quality tracks from some of my current fave producers like Corduroy Mavericks, Wattie Green, Byron Foxx, TBF & K-nto. It has been almost a year since my last Mix from the Revisited House series and over 1 1/2 years since the last Disco-House Classics Mix. Also - my blog turned 2 years last month - so it's about time to reveal THAT song you always hear in my mixes. Well, the voice drop mainly ;-) It's one of my all-time favourite Disco-House tracks: Foreal People's "Discotizer", produced by Joey Negro. I bet that some of you have just discovered this genre through Armand van Helden's latest Disco-House project Duck Sauce. Well, this kinda sound - dominated by happy Disco samples and lots of filters - had its peaktime already about 12 years ago! Yes Baby, it rocked the floor like you dont know.
