My Entry into the Electro Progressive House Competition 2014
As part of 1 of the rules I have had to incorporate a "cowbell" around 22 minutes into the mix... I tried to be original & inventive with this so hope you like what I did...
Some old & some new & I have tried to be a little different with the whole Cowbell requirement...
Pretty much did the whole set live with a collection of tunes i thought would go nicely together & just went with the flow of the mix & chose tracks accordingly...
Obviously I added bits such as the "cowbell" afterwards & tweaked it hear & there but the whole thing was done in 1 night to try & get a little atmosphere & that kind of flow you can only get when you don't plan & just go for it...

At 22 minutes and blown away by some of the mixing going on here. This is nasty and just getting nastier as I write this. This is how u win a competition.
Loved the end as well. This is the second time in a month that I really enjoyed one of your sets even though it was made in a style I normally dont like. I havent heard too many other sets in this competition but I can tell you this one will be hard to beat. You seem to have a great ear for music . This sets was massive fun to listen to and surprised me a few times with some skillfull and daring mixing. Good luck with the contest. Im not crazy about the fact that top 3 downloads gets u to the next round as the popular djs will get their downloads regardless of quality, but I cant think of a better way to suggest they do it besides the judges listening to all of them. Last competition I felt that there were too many great sets with very few downloads . Hopefully this will get enough downloads. Great work on this mix. I loved it.
