I never would have gotten into bands like SOS and early 80s funk unless we moved from Studio City to Alta Loma in the late 70's. Since 99.1 KGGI was the station that came in best, and is still around. The first song I danced to around my room by myself (after learning dance from my former Whisky a GoGo late 60s dancer mom to KC and the Sunshine band, and much practice to Give me The Night and Funkytown) was my first 12 inch single Take The Time do it Right,
we can Do It baybay..do it Tonight. Then came Chino, and Roq of the 80;s since KROQ came in with good reception. haha. Luv ya homie...Darla
