Mikey Swift moved to Las Vegas in late 2005, in just over a year he became the premier DJ in town. With a career spanning 18 years, 50+ clubs, 16 states and countless memories, Vegas was a natural progression. Mikey currently holds residency at REHAB, Insert Coins, Piranha Nightclub and Posh Afterhours. In addition Mikey was the "Official DJ" for the UFC (2007-2009) and "Official DJ" for the WEC (2007-2010). You can catch his wild mash-up style at REHAB Party at The Hardrock Hotel and don't forget to watch the show Tuesdays on truTV. Monthly he travels to other cities bringing that coveted Las Vegas sound. Spinning Hip-Hop, Rock, House, 80's and 90's, his eclectic and versatile style have made him a club favorite.
In 2009 Mikey started a side project M.E.R.C... this is a production alias. As M.E.R.C he creates high quality remixes, edits, mashups and mixshows of the hottest house, electro and hip hop from past and present. The name M.E.R.C is short for Mercenary because he "KILLS" the competition.... M.E.R.C had the #1 rated Dance Mixshow in Las Vegas "The =M.E.R.C= Mix" which aired FRIDAYS on Vibe 94.5FM and an Urban Mixshow variation of the same name which aired on www.SwurvRadio.com...both of which are available for download FREE on Soundcloud. Currently, Mikey is in the studio working on new content...stay on the lookout for that.
