;SD has been in the Estonian club music scene for about 10 years now. After launching successful drum&bass website Clubarena.com and a few years later all-around club music site Stereo88.com, SD has been in-and-out of the scene. IN means that SD is still feeling the music and collecting it more than ever. OUT means that working full time running a department in the biggest national newspaper and hardly ever going out to clubs (cause there just isn’t anything out there!) you really can’t consider him being part of the scene.
But that’s not important anyway as SD is doing his thing basement style now, going back to the roots. After really not considering himself a DJ, now at 29, things might turn out to be slightly different. Hosting a house-music radio show is a milestone for him on his journey.
His previous radio experiences include Nõmme Raadio (damn that was weird!), Energy FM and most recently national-station ;Raadio 2 ;where SD is still introducing young dj’s every Saturday almost prime-time.
SD’s influences include New York’s ;DJ Broadway, DJ Meri and P.Julm ofRulers of the Deep, Dave Storm of ;Ceremony Records, Enar “Rakett” Essenson of StereoÖÖ and Stereo88.com, MC J.O.C, Raul Saaremets of Raadio 2 and ;Mutant Disco.
House music all-time favorites include Kenny Bobien, Arnold Jarvis, Richard Earnshaw, Louie Vega, Studio Apartment, Tortured Soul, Jasper Street Co, Roland Clark, Ralf Gum, Peven Everett and more.
