taking us back to the 80s on 'Colours' featuring Laura Jackson on
vocals, Dave Mayer treats us once again with a soulful summery infused
house track 'Do Right'. Victor Simonelli's production 'I've Been
Changed' by Inner Faith got its 23rd birthday release featuring both new
and original (re)mixes. House legends Steve Silk Hurley and Marshall
Jefferson produced 'Just A Feelin (That I Get)' for vocalist B. Lauren,
Hurley's daugther. Pallace, Rude Jude, Lazy Flow & Tashi bringing us
90s piano house vibes, Full Intention and DJ Rooster keep the house
spirit alive, the jacking stuff is provided by Rob hayes, Luca Debonaire
and Audio Jacker this week.
This weeks classic is -of course- a
tribute to Colonel Abrams, the legendary soul and house vocalist, who
has died at the age of 67. I chose for lesser known track, produced by
Eddie Perez: 'So Proud' from 1994. Rest in peace to Colonel Abrams.
