Opening track.... - FUNKY little synth riff sets off the female vocals and 1980s R&B piano. 2:10 mark - Seamless TRANSITION. Female vocals, "Ain't nothin' goin' on but the rent," snarky keys and bass guitar. 5:35 - CLASSIC. Female vocals, "I'll be good," electro static bones (Rhodes) resonance. 8:10 - SMILE, OH WOW!!!!!!!!! Male vocals, "Roses are red, violets are blue, if there's anything I'm certain of, is I love you," feel good buttons. Definitive "young love" 80s R&B vibez. 12:30 - Automatic GOOSEBUMPS. Driza Bone, "Real Love 1991," that saxophone lick. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2017/03/21/23/3E76065D00000578-0-image-a-17_1490137243249.jpg - 15:00 - Michael Jackson, "Let me show you, let me show you the way to go." Undeniable intonation on this. 18:15 - Aretha Franklin, "Who's Zoomin' Who 1985." Raise your hand if your mum had this on repeat in the living area back then 0/. 21:55 - ZAPPY 80s chords. Everybody knows the dance floor GAIT on this one \\0//. 23:30 - An INSTANT GROOVER. "Don't even think about it, say no go," nuff said. 26:25 - "No more love on the run," ya'll know it (the 45+ listeners...hehheh). 28:55 - YEP. The female chorus when the days of the week are named (sounded off). 31:50 - WHEW....man straight crate diggin' on this one. It has been ages since I've heard this one. Mr. Alexander O'Neal was feelin' those lyrics. 34:15 - CATCHY man CATCHY. Again....back then, you knew when this track came on you were gettin' on that dance floor \\0//. 37:10 - And still ROLLIN' male vocals, "She's fresh, fresh, exciting." LOL of course you remember. 39:30 - Ah man....this was the Saturday afternoon prep groove. Always got yaz in the mood to go out and meet somebody. 41:30 - Coda...Sade, "He's a _____ ." HA!

- Geeeez. For the 45+ somethings this will strike up sooooo many memories of the 80s era. There's a blend of those top 40 R&B hits with some B-side gems that you may not recall. This was really CHEEKY FUN. Some of your ex-somethings would lol hearing this too. (45 mins - CHEEKY, 1980s R&B, dance floor fillers)
