I started to mix when i was 16/17 on the worst of the worst not even going to tell you what my set up was but at the time it was all I could afford. I was totally mad for any type of music at the time.but got into it because my friends were all playing old skool electro music.
Back then it was roxanne shante grand master flash old skool hip hop.when i started to listen to electro 6 it blew my mind with the hairs going up and the skin feeling cold.when i first heard it roxanne shante was playing on some lads guetto blaster. He had it on loud that was my first day on a yts and from that moment on i was hooked buying all the electros i could.

After a few months of mixing electro i started to mix jack music, house music, acid house. mixing artists such as marrs, paul hardcastle, farley jack master funk and pop music as i moved from the bedroom to playing out and getting regular spots in pubs.

After a while of playing on shitty gear and knobs dropping beer over my stuff and spending all i earned on buying records and getting in the party mood. I could never save for technics mark 12s that i wanted after using them in a club so i gave it all up.

After 10 years of not touching turntables i started chatting to leon woodley who became a good friend of mine and loved mixing trance on red belt drive kams.That was it hooked again after just a few times of mixing on his belt drives i just had to get my technics mk 12s.

So after spending a heap of cash on turntables amps and vinyl i was mixing trance, hardhouse and hard trance.since then i got myself some numark 800's cdrs and a numark m6 mixer and now mixing electro house and got back into it more than ever doing a few back to back sets with my nephew dj craigy boy..........
