Really pumped about the way this mix turned out - definitely my favorite one yet! As always, I tried to hit as many genres as possible - new/old, mainstream/underground and a few surprises too. A lot of people have been asking me if the two previous "volumes" of this mix series were actually recorded live, and yes they were and so was this (this one in 2 parts due to unforeseen circumstances). My DJ mixes will always be live. I feel like making a mix in Ableton or another DAW (as many people do) kinda defeats the purpose of a "DJ mix." That's just me though. I used two technics and CDJs, as a few of the mixes in here wouldn't have been possible without 3 decks.
