If you like your beats in-your-face hard, funky banging, and mixed creatively, then this is the DJ for you.  BassTrixx's mixing style is unique and exciting which gives him a sweet edge of creativity and versatility in his performances. Never failing to bring an enormous energy to a party, or live event, let alone your jukebox or Mike is always busting out the right tuness to have the floor bouncing.  His unpredictability keeps people on their toes and wanting more.  Today, Mike aims his sights on more than just DJing, he's engineering and producing his own music.  

Influenced by DJs at rave parties around Toronto, BassTrixx was always determined to get behind the decks at live events, and really push his limits in the rave and club industry. In the year of 2000, BassTrixx sold his guitar to buy a cheap pair of belt-driven turntables to learn on. By 2001, BassTrixx had aquired industry standard equipment to practice on, and get serious about DJing.

Erupting onto the Ontario rave scene in 2004 at a young age, BassTrixx began to establish his name known for hi-energy performances and tricky, yet smooth mixes, banging UK HardHouse, NRG, Hard Trance and Hardstyle.  His mixing style has always been different from most DJ's which gives him a creative edge.

Living up to his DJ name, and having a mixing style that was different from any other djs of his kind, BassTrixx found himself behind the decks at events like the World Electronic Music Festival (WEMF - Canada's largest electronic music event) from behing selected from the new talent mix contests back to back years in '04 and '05.

After a 5 year break from DJing, Mike is back and more determined than ever to get out, get heard, and rock parties wherever hes given opportunity.  BassTrixx plays a wide fariety of genres but primarily now is known for dropping Electro, Dutch, Dubstep, Drum & Bass and Drumstep.  Fast emerging on the Okanagan scene in BC, BassTrixx continues to kill it every show and bring down the roof's off venues.
