This is a mix that defies 1 single genre but if I had to pick one I would say its Progressive House. When I say Progressive house, I mean the original kind of Prog House not the EDM/Electro rubbish they call Prog House these days.
Inspired over the years by DJs like Sasha, Digweed, Hybrid, Cattaneo and the like, this set is a journey mix through different genres taking in Prog House, Tech House and Techno featuring the Producers cutting it in their own respective scenes right now, the future of this genre including fresh tracks from Scuba, Ejeca, Eelka Klein, Just Be (Bushwacka), one of my fave producers Matt Lang and respected artists who have been around for a long time but still going strong like Spiritcatcher, Omid16B...
A widescreen, cinematic sounding set with a driving rhythm through out. I used to be a big fan of the Global Underground series of compilation albums back in the day so I guess this is my tribute to those kind of sets.
Its something a bit different from me, but as anyone who follows me on here knows, I am just passionate about good music so I play whatever style the mood suits me :-)
