So the original Arthur is much older than the stories we know from Medieval times.
Britain was populated by Celts,Scoti and Britons,they are the original British people.The Angles (Danes) and Saxons (Germans) invaded what is modern day Britain.
England=Land of the Angles or Angelland or Angleterre.
The Celtic people who originally came from Eastern Europe had lost their Empire which basically spanned the whole of Europe at the advent of the Romans were forced to relocate to Ireland.
So,the people who live in modern Britain are in fact  a bunch of Danes and Germans who invaded a couple of centuries ago.
Saxony for example is one of the States of Germany.(Sachsen-Anhalt,Niedersachsen)
Queen Elizabeth II claims her name is Windsor...a blatant lie.Her name is Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha.And Prince Philip's real name is von Battenberg,anglisized to:Mountbatten...

I always was fascinated and intrigued by this mysterious place called Algeria,but somehow ended up in Morocco instead.There is a big difference between the two countries by the way.This background inspired me to record this blend.

I grew up listening to this kind of sound.Bought at least 3 vinyls per week at the time (Late 70ies)."Got stuff" from my Dad's record collection too...he had far out shit at the time.Like "Working together" by Ike and Tina Turner or "Shaft" by Isaac Hayes...still my favorites.

About two years ago I found a Video clip on youtube which blew my mind.
In the first place because of her Voice,the arrangement,interpretation and the Singer is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly sexy.
It is by American Soul/Rock/Jazz/Country/Blues and Opera Singer/Songwriter Holle Thee Maxwell.Who started her career as Holly Maxwell at age 5!
She replaced Tina Turner in the Ike Turner's Band and worked with The Temptations,The (Detroit) Spinners,Little Jimmy Smith,The Dells,Captain and Tenille and many,many more.
Unfortunately I have'nt been able to find any of her recordings on the usual download sites that's why I decided to use the extracted audio from the youtube video quality issues and all.
I tried very hard to filter and equalize,the result can be heard on the first track of this record.The song is called "You better Stop"

I dedicate this to Vladimir Mikhailovich Komarov (Moscow 16.3.1927 - Orenburg 24.4.1967) a highly decorated Soviet Air Force Pilot,Aerospace Engineer and Cosmonaut who died when his space capsule crashed after re-entry due to a parachute failure.
