Thanks for the great feedback. For my taste I think I have taken this particular sound as far as I could. The amount of time and work I put into this to get a sound I actually enjoyed tells me its time to move on to a new sound. I spent the last few months downloading literally hundreds of gigabytes of new music in alot of different genres, and have received hundreds of tracks from Jason. The new set I made with all of that music is called Alchemy and I will release it on Monday. I figured it would be best to put this out first. Cant wait to hear what you all think. Again, many thanks for all the amazing feedback on this !

yo Niko. Man I downloaded this on the fly by the other night...went to gym this morning and just had a random "press play".......bloooody hell...lol....about 15min in session and I'm like..."WHAT"S THIS PLAYING?!?!""...lol. I could hear who ever was up was no ordinary DJ and no ordinary skills being laid down. So I kept traing the 1h 20 min just because it would be a sin to pause it anywhere in between. I only read what this was all about now and surely put a huge smile on my face as Jason is a dear friend to me also and I could tell how much you respect his art. I've been in the dance scene from teenage years and must say listening to some tracks and the way it was mixed surely took me back to my non-stop 48-72 hour partying days..LOL. This is dance music to the max...electronic non-stop club shizzle ....never-ending techno basslines to make ya sweat aaall weekend long. Proper ...before all the commercial electro boogie woogie non-talented ""EDM"" crap opened a can of worms.... PROPER and ""PURE"" are words that comes to mind. I'll have to listen to this again to let you know what I think of all the hard work you put into mixing this classic ....so I'll be back for that....but for what I can say for now....RESPECT and THANK YOU :)

Wow totally blown away by JRs review. Again all the positive feedback is greatly appreciated but when I read the in depth minute by minute comments by top notch artists like Disco frisco, JR etc... it just makes all the extra work feel that much more worth it. To be honest as an hour of music this is not my favorite piece of work. So in a way the casual prog fan kind of got ripped off. I couldve used newer better and bigger tracks and kept it simple and made a great flowing set but this was not about tthat. This was about me proving to myself that im ready to take on the challenge of making serious tracks. Thats the only way to get taken seriously today in our industry. The sets are great and since ive settled down and had a family (3 kids), I have stopped playing in front of crowds as that lifestyle would rob my kids of the parent they deserve. But since I found house-mixes I get the same rush from reading all the great comments as I did from hundreds of people yelling and dancing. And that means the world to me. As DJs we are in it for love of the music but also most of us want others to enjoy what we do and feel what we feel. Thats why this site has the best djs and music fans on earth. The love I have recieved over the years here has been amazing. I used to make these sets for myself just to have something to listen to but now I have hundreds of people to share it with and I get to hear peoples reactions and thoughts as well without ever leaving my house. So thank you all again. Even the smallest thanks for the music remarks mean the world to me. But when I go out of my way and drive myself crazy to finish a set like this it makes me light up like new years in times square to hear other artists that I respect and (even look up to) understanding what it is that is really going on inside the music. To those guys (u know who u are) I give an extra special thanks and will give extra effort starting today to listen to more of your work and stop being such a snob. Hahaha. JR my man not only are u showing us all up with your music but now u are doing it with your comments too. Disco frisco I have admired ur work for a few months now and think ur taste and mixing skills are impeccable and its an honor to hear the time u put into my work. God bless u all. Next few wont be so complicated. I will get back to the purity of the music and as JR says will try to stop showing off. Ableton has given me the freedom I dreamed of the day I found out I could mix 2 records. I know every DJ has always wish he could play exactly whats in his mind. That day is here. All it took was alittle bit of searching and patience. I cant wait to hear what some of you djs blowing it up on decks will sound like when u find the freedom to do anything you want anytime you want. Its a scary thought. We havent even started pushing this thing yet. Electronic music has evolved more in 10 years than rock has in 100. Cant imagine what well be doing in 10 more years. Ive been in this scene since 1991 when u couldnt find techno in 1 club in nyc and we had to dance in garbage truck garages and dirty warehouses under constant threat of a police raid. For those who have been there since then, we have come a long way baby. This set is a marker of sorts for me. It shows me how far ive come and ur comments and feedback give the confidence and boost I needed to take my art to the next level. Love and Good fortune to everyone. This is the most wicked side of tracks that i am familar with but yet cant decide whats playing, i have been a fan of yours for a while now have missed your mixes big time dude. you have been the prog king for me ever. you have taken this to a level that isn't possible. nothing can make you smile more than a little mayhem this is past that a level of expertised not found in a human. maybe a robot or something. this may not be my favorite but its the most difficult mix i have heard. i think randall and you always make me question sound. but you are doing something that proggy guys like satoshie or sasha or nick warren could never achieve. your their idol they dont even know it. serious they may have money but you have power. Hey Niko...Man O Man..Just searching for words and my mouth i still wide open and my brain is still rotating to understand whats happening.I remember so many sounds here but can't really remember from where. lol. This is exactly how Software should be used to create something different and unique,i know many dj's using ableton for mixing 2 tracks together to get a tide mix and let the mix shine bright. But NOT YOU!!!!!! I can feel how difficult it was to do but the out come,is out of this Planet.As you know i produce tracks by my self and i know how it is when you got a lot of loops,sounds,samples,and then you want to mix them down to a track.What you have done here is much more than remixing or making just a "simple" track.This is a MASTERPIECE of producing and mixing.I can't say often enough how much Respect i have from your work and that you are sharing this with us for free!!!!. You and Jason are one of the best Dj's in the World. Jason is doing it analog and everything in real time and you Niko ,the Master of using Software and mapping and planning it out...ON THE HIGHEST LEVEL
