A native New Jerseyan, now residing in Pittsburgh, PA. A reputable DJ with over 20 years in the game as a professional singer/songwriter/producer with 3 Boyz from Newark Productions and DarkChild Studios.

I got my start at the age of 16 (man that seems so long ago), with a pair of Gemini belt-drive turntables and a RadioShack (Tandy) mixer (YEH, I'm OLD), set up on my bedroom dresser with the windows open so my neighbors could complain. I started doing house parties, and worked my way up to doing local venues, and a few local bars before I got up the nerve to approach a few local celebrities and ask for advice to step my game up. By the age of 19, I started doing house sets with the likes of Joe Velardi, and the legendary Franco Iamello, whom I went on to open up for at every venue he did for the next several years. As I outgrew the local urban scene, I was introduced to the likes of the late Larry Levan, and the MASTER OF HOUSE Tony Humphries, thru a mutual friend (my brother), Naeem Johnson. As nervous as I was, I was invited to sit in on a set at the now legendary "Garage" in NYC. Impressed by my up and coming status, I was blessed with more tutolage from more greats, who provided me stepping stones to clubs such as Emerald City, the Sound Factory Bar and Grill, Shadows, Levels, the BlackBox, Peppermint Lounge, the Shelter and the legendary Zanzibar just to name a few. Thru some effort and hard work, I have also been able to study at and with the M.O.S. and learn what HOUSE is all about! It's a MOVEMENT and a FEELING! One I am glad and PROUD to be a part of!!!

As my status has grown, I have been blessed enough to have a hand in such remixes as: In The Closet (Newark Remix), Downtown by SWV (Wet Extended Remix), That's The Way Love Is (Club Version), Groove Of Love (Vincent Herbert Mix), The Way You Make Me Feel by Ten City (Hump Mix) and several more mixes and productions available @ Discog.com. I've also done several guest appearances on HOT97 (The All Night House Party), 98.7 KISS Fm (The Old School House Mix), 92.3 WKTU (The Late Night Mix), and worked with as well as became befriended by DJ icons such as, DJ Backspin, Keith Johnson, DJ Doughboy, DJ Ran, DJ Skribble, GrandMaster Flash, Lil Louis Vega, Tony Morello, the Latin Rascals, and grew up with and am close friends with the legendary house songstress Kimara Lovelace (for you TRUE house fans).
