When I read "a Christmas and New Years Mix" in the discription of the competition rules, I think of Christmas music .. but what I hear has got nothing to do with Christmas. Not judging, just stating an obvious fact.
I'm gonna participate in the competition myself and I will be taking part with a real Christmasmix ..!! :)

Thank you DJ-Bosco, good luck to you too! I'm pretty sure I'm NOT gonna win (not even close!) but my entry is merely to show that it IS possible to create a real Christmas megamix with only Christmas tracks :)

Well, the rules states "Upload a Christmas mix (any genre) with tracks that are associated with Christmas or/and New Years Eve."
yeah..that's right...but I'm never gonna mix some "jingle balls" because I wouldn't be what I actually am: a dj who creates mixes full of energy...period.
oh "sorry" mariusaxinte .... I wasn't aware of the fact that the mix should be something that one would listen to in a CLUB on Christmas ..... I was under the impression that it should be a CHRISTMASMIX and even though the rules do not state that the mix can only contain Christmas songs, you don't go creating a mix called "RNB megamix" and then only use HOUSE TRACKS in it, now would you ..?!? ;-) LOL!! ...... so do forgive me if I created a REAL CHRISTMAS MEGAMIX that actually does some honor to the title "Christmasmix" :))

mariusaxinte ..... it's not about winning, it's about creating mixes that bring joy to people and a smile :) on their faces ..... that's the most important thing ...... winning would be nice but it's not the 1st reason why I enter a competition, it's more to be able to show the things that can be done with music if/when one is being creative :))

ok, lucien...so you say Christmas songs should be used because is a Christmas competition,right? But I also remember that we can bring the New Year's Eve sensation.So, what tracks should we use if we don't really want to create a Christmas feeling but a NYE sensation? NYE = JOY = PARTY. Booya! :)))

Dig the track selection. The first track was a little Dark but I liked it. But as the mix goes on you definitely had some Bangers in the mix. Good Stuff!

As I recall the rules said 'a Xtmas or New Year's Eve MIX', just that, and now I'm reading also 'tracks associated with'. Well, I know there's a funny side behind mixing 'Jingle Bells', but.... not the kind of songs that i like to hear in a mix.
