OPENING TRACK!!!!!!!! - HAAAA DIGGIN' IT!!!!!!!!!! Jumps from the female chorus into a nifty, stripped-down bassline. 7:15 mark - INTRINSIC. Notice the classical strings and heavy (minimalist) BASSLINES. 12:30 - ALWAYS Depeche Mode. "Words are very _______." 16:40 - C L A S S I C. This one just freezes you. 20:50 - WHEW MAAAAAAN deep-flava indeed....you got some SERIOUS crates pullin' this one out the locker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Talking Heads, "Girlfriend is Better 1983." Damn I forgot all about this one. 25:00 - Luv the TRANSITION (symmetry) into this track. Female vocals, "Hot and cold." 28:30 - Criminal VIBIN'. Hearing Prince's "Sexy Dancer 1980" now and you knew he was going to become his "Royal Badness." 36:05 - STOMPIN' FUNK BASSLINES \\0// !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ya makin' me polish my platform shoes and get em' out for BUSINESS. https://cdn-3.cinemaparadiso.co.uk/clp/211419-4194-clp-950.jpg - 40:50 - Chicago MENTAL. All JIVE on the male vocal narrative and electro keys. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/ed/f0/da/edf0da5fcc28039f4cc7f9337ec358c6.jpg - 45:40 - BLOODIED LAMBS OF SLAUGHTERED HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GEEEEEEEEZ, this is RARE. I may ave only heard this track three times when I was in single digits in the mid-70s. This was a B-Side party record. I never remember hearing the radio stations spin this., a brilliant find. 49:55 - Again, that definitive Chicago house/disco sound. TIMELESS male vocals....endless GROOVE \\0// !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 55:15 - YEP, and those cowbell snares. 60:10 - BIG SMILE, another CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!! LUV the electro synth. 61:30 - \\0// Yeah headz this sound ere....yeah....you know what it does to us. https://img.washingtonpost.com/wp-apps/imrs.php?src=https://img.washingtonpost.com/news/in-sight/wp-content/uploads/sites/35/2014/09/201408261103.jpg&w=1484 - 72:00 - That BASS GUITAR LOOP. 74:15 - ABSOLUTELY WICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Male vocal narrative, minimalist chord loops, and backing overdubs without a bassline. 78:50 - Coda....Prince, "Uptown 1980" when everybody in the neighborhood was leaving the flat at the same time on Friday night.

- All RETRO, all good vibez, and ALL FUN. This is a fantastic voyage into the annals of Chicago house, 1970s disco funk, 1980s New Wave, and late 70s post disco punk. You're not going to hear the tracks you'd expect to hear on a retro session. Many of these tracks are B-sides that weren't played on the radio or MTV. This is tailor-made for the 46+ age group or newbies wanting to study their parents' music palette. (1 hr 19 mins - PRICELESS vibez and MEMORIES!)
