I try to be a diversified DJ, but don't usuaully play DNB. Per my wife and daughter's request, I am giving it another go. I put a lot of practice into this mix and would really appreciate some honest critiques. A lot of DNB mixes that I listen to have a lot of cutting and chopping. I haven't mastered this yet so I tend to stick with long transitions. I want to know {from whoever will listen), how is the track selection, what do you think of the transitions, do you think I kept a good flow throughout the mix, should I have used more sub genres of DNB throughout the set, and lastly.....how would you classify this style od DNB? I am new to all these sub genre classifications and am still learning what is what. In my mind, this is DNB, with a hint of jump up, dark, and Drum step......though I am prepared to be corrected. Please have a listen and leave me some honest feedback. I am always striving to be better and in order to get there, I need some honest opinions from the people who love this music and play this music. Thanks for checking it out and I hope you enjoy it. -Matt

Side Note*

Some people seem to care (and many don't) about equipment used so here is the run down: I always use my CDJ 200's, and an Allen & Heath Xone 42 mixer. I have no auto sync or waveforms on my CDJ's. This mix and all my others are done by ear and much practice. The only time I use a laptop, is when I need to run Audacity to record my mixes, or when I run my new tracks through mixed in key. I started using mixed in key in October of 2013. It is by far the best way I have found to organize a large CD collection. It can be very time consuming since I do not use software and controllers to mix with, but well worth the effort
