Week 4 of the EDM Madness podcast is inspired by DJ Iron Chef's Burning Man experience. Filled with beautiful trance selections, DJ Iron Chef hopes to bring you an euphoric light & airy feeling.
Jason J. Yeh, aka, Iron Chef began his DJ training in 2006 at Los Angeles' Scratch DJ Academy - a DJ school, founded in 2002 by the late, Jam Master Jay, the legendary DJ from Run-DMC. Between 2007 and 2009, Iron Chef served as the resident DJ for CLIQ and Buddha Lounge, as well as guest-dj'ed for a number of other establishments in Hong Kong, including M1NT, Club No. 9, Club Sugar, Zaza, Vertigo Ultralounge and Lotus, spinning an eclectic mix of RnB, Hip-hop, Rock, Old-School, Disco and Electronica. In 2010, Iron Chef relocated back to Los Angeles and co-founded a non-profit, called "The Forum of Music", which empowers under-served musicians through event performance and raises awareness of soul music in the Los Angeles community. Currently, Iron Chef is experimenting with creative ways to incorporate live instrumentation, such as an electric violin into his DJ sets, as well as blend his cut & paste hip-hop and mash-up style into the EDM-scene.
