The Story So Far...
Back in 1992 an early rave called Fusion first appeared on the south coast by organised by a Chris Grayston. The explosion of the rave scene in the early 90's saw Fusion expand to become one of the biggest raves on the scene, with famous nights at Aldershot Rhythm Station, Farnborough Rec, Portsmouth Guildhall, Hastings Pier, Bath Pavilion, Milton Keynes Sanctuary to a famous 12,000 sell-out festival at Wembley in 1996.
Hectic Records emerged from the parties to become one of the leading hardcore labels of the day with
over 100 singles and 10 compilation albums featuring artists such as Slipmatt, DJ Hixxy, Seduction, Ramos & Supreme, Darren Styles, Sy & Unknown, and many more.
Fast Forward to 2013, Mike Pickets, a London club promoter with a record for running some of the leading underground house & techno nights around the UK contacted Grayston and together, the two agreed to resurrect the legendary event for one special night with a commitment to the original sound and magic of Hectic Records.
No expense has been spared to being you all the original artists that played soundtrack to millions of clubbers and ravers throughout the explosion of the rave scene as we know it in the 1990's.
This is the first Fusion event with the full support and management of the original promoters and owners of Hectic Records since Grayston closed the doors to Bath Pavilion back in 1999.
