After the success of the first volume, I was inspired to put all other projects on hold to bring you a second one as soon as was humanly possible. DeepWit put out some of the truest deep house on the market and have an array of stunning talent signed up to their label.
My favourite release of theirs happens to be their latest by Pat Foosheen. Although originally spinning at 129 BPM, I decided to slow that sucker right down for this mix, to savour the rich deep sound on offer there. We have again a couple of remixes from label founder Alvaro Hylander, whose vision of deep house matches my own. And we finish on a terrific deep jazz-funk vibe with the Audio Units. Normally spinning at 115 BPM, I ramped the speed up to get the most out of this groove.
