Pennygiles (aka Stuart Maccallum) went from unknown Welsh lad to internationally renowned producer in the space of just over a year. Originally a House DJ in 2006, he began producing drum & bass in 2010 after being inspired by labels like Calibre’s Signature Records & Marcus Intalex’s Soul:R. He scored his first major release a year later in 2011, and has created a constant stream of stunning drum and bass since then. 1Xtra’s Bailey and MistaJam rinse his tunes out regularly & labels such as Innerground, Demand, Liquid V, Mars, Fokuz, and Rubiks have released his material. He’s also a regular collaborator with the likes of RoyGreen & Protone, Phil Tangent, and Mr Joseph.
