My Mixes / Tracks
Trance Wars Episode V by RiprecordsuploadedIt's still October 2006 and we carry on with Episode 5 - to begin with one of my alltime fav's "Freefall" by Pitch Black the Doof Remix.
That level is kept over the full set, consistently stuff i just call beautiful music, no more no less.
As banger to the end comes a slightly reworked version of "Razzia" by DJ-Pow Low and he delivers...
Trance Wars Episode III by RiprecordsuploadedAlso Episode 3 of September 2006 is following the principles of the early Trance Wars Mixes -
starting out with a slow track, picking up speed over the middle, gettin' to one or two peaks
and finally running out to cool off ! Includes the rare "Death by Chocolate Version" of Shilo's "I Really Want You"
and a special mixed didgerredoo intro for Ticon's "Ass-Tronaut" ! Don't play it to quiet !
Trance Wars Episode VI by RiprecordsuploadedEpisode 6 (November 2006) - in this set i had my own hands on several tracks, check it out !
Furthermore containing slow piano parts by Oliver Prime,
dark & heavy stuff in a remixed instrumental by Black Sabbath,
"Not GiviN' Up" a real housebanger by Quivver feat. Niki Mak,
and one of my favs "Red" by the genius Junkie XL !
By the way there's an announcement made in the last track,
that this would be the last Trance Wars Mix,
so realize things never turn out the way you expect !
Trance Wars Episode VII by RiprecordsuploadedEpisode 7 (December 2006) - a very housy, almost funky set,
contains gems like "Sunday" feat. Rainy Day by Pavliga & Denis Binokl,
and the very rare "Another Skyline (We Love David Gilmour Mix)" by J&P,
ending with a classic "Les Djinns" by Djuma Soundsystem,
of course the Trentemoller Remix !
Trance Wars Episode VIII by RiprecordsuploadedAs always Progressive-Trance, Progressive-House,
but as always resourced with something extraordinary :
Net Groove's "Step Into The Light" contains a classic chant !
Marco Bellini & Val Wellers "Magmabrain" goes straight through the roof !
Tape Recording Club's "Precinct 13" a really successful assualt on the John Carpenter classic !
Conciliation at the end with the smooth "Inescapable" by Fishead,
in the Sean Miller Old Skool Club Mix Version !
Trance Wars Episode XI by RiprecordsuploadedBack in August 2007 Episode 11 of the Trance Wars Series saw the light of day,
containing Progressive-Trance and Progressive-House, but some tracks also heading into Psy !
The original mix was done in HQ for a DVD-Audio recording in 24Bit 48kHz,
so i hope there'll be left a whit of the original dynamics in this mp3 file.
Play it loud and enjoy !
Ripsurrection Volume 1 by RiprecordsuploadedThis set is from my very early days, a period full of anger and wrath - you'll hear that...
It's a dark mixture of Industrial, Psytrance & Heavy Metal - evil guitars underlaid with
fast electronic beats - at that time i used to call it "Teknometal" !
By the way i've to confess that the transitions had be coped without pitchcontrol,
but i think it still got quite proper. Also some rare remixes are included !
Are you ready to plunge into a cruel world ? Here goes !
Trance Wars Episode XII by RiprecordsuploadedNo.12 of the Trance Wars series, originally recorded november 2009, for a friend's birthdaybash.
Progressive with a pinch of "psy" ! No ordinary trance - rather stuff for some hilarious headbanging !
Check it out, at own risk, preferably in a soundwise well equipped car !
Classic Rock Mixtape Summer 2001 by RiprecordsuploadedAn old mixtape, with some Classic Rock ! This is no DJ-Set, so dont expect perfectly beatmatching transitions, its only recorded on the fly in june 2001, just for cruising around in the car on sunday afternoon ! So remember, where have all the Good Times gone ? (Track # 15) Cheers !Between The Years (New Years Eve 2009 Afterhour Mix) by RiprecordsuploadedThis set was intended to chill down the outrunning bash in the early morning hours. Its still techno, techhouse or minimal, but slowed down and more relaxed as a pure dace-set, ending with a really touching track; the great Devils Water from Rennie Foster ! - Happy New Year to you !
