Have you ever had a day when your mixing was so 'on', it was scary to you? This was one of those days for me.
In the mid to late 80's I worked at a club In Houston called 'Atlantis'. We played a little of everything...with the focus on songs you didn't or couldn't hear anywhere else. The other focus was to give the crowd as much of the song as you could...no quick mixes or first break bounce-outs...and this is an example of that idea. Some of these songs are now 'classics' and/or 'oldies'. At the time they were not...
I did this set using my Denon DN-2600F Dual CD Player and Pioneer DJM-3000 Mixer. All tracks are vinyl to CD transfers (with the exception of 'The Promise'). I apologize for the pops in the intro (2001)...it was an OLD LP!!!!!
I hope you enjoy the mix...it's one of my favorites. Please leave your comments and like on my page. Keep Listening...
