This is a selection of Vocal and Funky House tunes from the where house era of our super club from the 90's which was called Progress and was based in Derby England. We hosted a wide range of different DJ's in that era. One week we would have Allister Whitehead playing vocal House the next week we would play host to Andy Weatherall or Paul Daley playing more Techno based styles. The club was not about one style of music it was about covering all aspects of Dance music, and one in which we had over ten years of doing so. The tracks selected here are the less than obvious ones in the Vocal House and Funky Genres. These are some of the tracks that were popular for a few weeks at the club and were the ones that have been more or less forgotten over time. This mix was done completely on vinyl and revives a few of those records. Enjoy....
