I listened 2 them back when they were Joy Division... They were one of the first groups to make electronic dance music produced by Arthur Baker similar in sound to electro funk (post-disco, Latin freestyle, and electro) of the early 80's. My college roommate from Manchester, England & I used to argue about which song & sound was better: New Order's "Confusion" vs. Afrika Bambaataa and the Soulsonic Force's "Looking For The Perfect Beat" alll produced by New York club dJ/remixer/producer Arthur Baker of "Breaker's Revenge" fame all some my all-time-music-favorites. So I am really psyched 2 hear this mix... AWESOME from start 2 finish! Great quality + selection of tunes!
