Bio

DJ Chris aka The Funky Munky was a semi-professional Club DJ back in the 80's, in those days spinning the vinyl discs to Hi-Nrg music which was the mainstream of that day in gay clubs through the world.

Chris started Djing in The Euston Tavern in London in 1983, and also did a guest Dj apperance in The famous Heaven Club in 1984.

Moving on from London he then went to Milton Keynes where he was the resident DJ at The Loft in Wolverton, then onto becomming the resident Dj at The Regent Club in Northamptoin and also did every other friday night at The Princess Royal (also in Northampton).

In the early 90's Chris moved into the resident spot at The Lord Raglan in Wolverhampton for a period of about 6 months. Chris has also done occasional DJ sets at the The Flamingo in Blackpool during the early 90's as a relief Dj for Robin Banks and the main dancefloor on two occasions when Flamingo used to have their all-dayers.

Today DJ Chris (The Funky Munky) although no longer a professional DJ, he still produces great podcast Dj Mixes of modern Electro Funky House, and often does many retro mixes such as Hi-NRG, Disco, Eurodance, and Remixes to name a few.

no worries chap i shall certainly be investigating your other hi energy mixes. seriously must of had that vol.3 on loop for about 2 days now :) the mixing really is quite simply beautiful! nice one for the tune i.d although im not sure it's what im looking for :/ the time is 73.20 - 74.01 that lil funky ass snippet is what im after, any help would be much appreciated :)
