Mix added: 9th of August 2009 Hi people! :) Back after the hollidays with - in my opinion - my best mix to date. Absolutely packed with quality tunes, this session features some of the best funky, soulful and big-room tunes hammered by superstar DJs right now. Coming back from Ibiza I'm bringing you the absolutely latest housetracks that are working the clubs down in the Balearic Islands from the worlds greatest DJ's; hence the "subtitle" :) I had the pleasure to hook up with Jamie Lewis and Panevino from Purple Music, and David Guetta + Martin Solveig after their legendary "Fuck Me I'm Famous" session @ Pacha. Spending the days at various beaches (check out Blue Marlin Ibiza if you're going down there) and best clubs, I'm bringing you the tunes that rocked the island while I was there. Back with another Soulful House episode - we've reached Vol. 20 already :) - here are some hot & funky tunes for ya. DJ Meme is back in business and delivers after two years another cover of a legendary 70s salsoul song: "Love Is You" by Carol Williams. On the vocals - supported by the DJ Meme Orchestra - Tracey K. Another hot track from DJ Meme is his remix of Bah Samba's "Have You Got Your Bootz On?". This one really works on the dancefloor and brings back happy Disco-House feelings. Corduroy Mavericks are bringing us a brilliant track called "Unsettled" - have you heared the vocals before but you don't know where... check out Kimbra's "Settle Down". Oh, i love this track. But one of the sexiest soulful tracks in 2011 is Rich Earnshaw's "Cry Me A River" and Imogen Ryall on the vocals. Really, i can't stop playing this tune. HOTNESS!

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY HERE, I HAVE A FEW CATS ON THIS SIGHT I REALLY ADMIRE THERE STYLE AND SONG SELECTIONS AND FEEL FOR THE MUSIC, DJ F, RADAR, (DVSLEE) AND CL, THE THREE AMIGOS AMONGST OTHERS BUT THIS MIX WAS BROUGHT ABOUT CAUSE I BEEN HEARING SOME SLAMMIN STUFF LATELY AND AS PEOPLE KNOW ME OR MADE A NAME ON THIS SIGHT OR WAY BEFORE THIS SIGHT PEOPLE HAVE KNOWN ME FOR SLAMMING TECHNO OR MELODIC ORIGINAL PROGRESSIVE AND BREAKS, BUT ALSO ONES THAT TRULY KNOW ME UNDERSTAND I AM ALL ABOUT GREAT ELECTRONICA, IF ITS GOOD ITS GOOD, THIS SIGHT HAS WONDERFUL DJ'S AND PRODUCERS I TRULY BELIEVE THE BEST SIGHT FOR ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC, BUT I HAD TO BRING A DNB SLASH CHAOS SET INTO FOCUS, SO I DID NOT DEVIATE FROM MY WAY OF MIXING WITH THIS, IM ESTABLISHED AS ALWAYS USING SAMPLES AND LOOPS AND OVER RIDING ELEMENTS AND DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE TRACKS AT CERTAIN POINTS AND ALSO BRINGING TRACKS BACK INTO THE FOREFRONT ONCE U THINK ITS GONE IT COMES BACK IN A DIFFERENT ANGLE WHICH IS VERY INFLUENCED IN THIS MIX, ONCE U THINK SOMETHINGS PASSED ITS BACKKK, BUT JUST CERTAIN PIECES, THIS MIX HERE IS CHAOS MADNESS, FULL OF ALL KINDS OF WEAVING AND BEATDOWN MUSIKA DNB STYLE, VERY DARK BUT YET PROGRESSIVE SO TO SPEAK, CAUSE ITS CONSTANTLY CHANGING, BUT THROUGH MY RAMBLING DJ F AND RADAR AND CL HAVE HUGE SUPPORT FROM ME AND THIS IS A LIL PAYBACK TO THEM WHICH NO MATTTER WHAT I SAY I HOPE THEY ENJOY THIS PART 1 OF BANANA TRAINS..................A BIG FAN AND SUPPORTER.TO ALL THAT ARE KEEPING IT RAW AND UNCUT AND MOST IMPORTANT ((((UNDERGROUND))))). THANK GOD! I am finally back AGAIN! Bringing you the BEST of the UNDERGROUND House Music sound around. But before I begin to tell you about this mixtape. I like to DEDICATE this mixtape to my friends. One is new and the other is an old friend. While I was away, I was going through a rough period in my life. And these two gentleman help me pull through during that time. Starting with my new friend first. It was through his music and kind words that help me. He name is Alex. You know him as SAND B. While I was away I keep on playing his mixtape “The Celebration Mix” And just by playing that mixtape with the words to each song help me get through. What I truly like about Alex is his PASSION for the MUSIC. It is almost like we grew up together . On the same block playing and listening to KISS-FM. His knowledge for the old school Music is so profound. I appreciate and respect him very much. The second friend I have to say. We must of pass by one another a million times in our lifetime. Walk up and down the streets of New York City We were at the same clubs. Shop at the same record stores. Listen to the same music. Staying up all night recording Tony Humphries at night. And NOT one time did we ever meet. Not until years and years later in our life. He goes by the name DIXMIX. Now Dixmix has ALWAYS inspires me mentally. And we have always been there for one another. His knowledge for Music is like no other. Not only can he talk about House Music, Djing, Mixing Styles. But he can talk to you and give you history lesson on Jazz, R&B, Disco, Gospel, Rock Outside of music, he throws down on politics, world events, technology, movies And the BEST subject of all other than music, Is talking about….. The LADIES. I can’t thank you both enough for being there for me. For this new mixtape it is loaded with ALL NEW TRACKS, ALL NEW MUSIC. Some with thumping bass lines, Others with sultry silk vocals. I have also throw in 3 throw backs tracks. One you might recognize right away. Barbara Tucker “I Get Lifted” with the famous Duck Sound. Mix with a track for DJ Todd Terry Then immediately following is another classic Dennis Ferrer “Sinfonia Della Notte” You may not recognize the track title but you probably heard the bass line. And the third is one from Beyoncé “Sweet Dreams” Mix together from a track from Pete Tong & Paul Rogers. Which gave it a more funky beat.
