My friend Jojo was having a bad day so i did her a mix to cheer her up :) Loads of old skool 80`s Funk and Electro with just a hint of cool 80`s Pop...a few quick scratch bits here and there,and as always it`s blended to perfection(harmonically of course).Lots of really nice remixes and re-edits in this mix..so please track the people who did them down and support them.Thanks for checking my mix...feel free to pass the mix on and any feedback is greatly appreciated. Pure 80's Girl Twirl.  Did YOU go to the clubs a lot during the 80's??.  Then if you did, these songs will hit you like a brick.

Disco went back underground for a long time, but the gay community just kept on with business as usual, Patrick Cowley, Sylvester, Megatone Records, Bobby "O", Mark Farina (Not the House DJ) and SAIFAM, the Italians and (mostly) Europeans were making BEAUTIFUL disco!  Too bad we as Americans embrace these stupid catch phrases and now the masses in America have missed out on all these tracks because radio was afraid to play anything that sounded too "DISCO",  I worked in radio for 13 years and witnessed this.  as the article says:  "one guy with a grudge changed the face of pop music in one night",  Oh well, too bad, so sad. 

So come with me my dear, let me take you by the hand now and drink from the beautiful fountain of 80's "Underground" DISCO music and hear some of what you have missed from the 80's.
