Beastie Boys MCA RIP @ Club Interface!- This Pod Cast,  I dedicate to all the Beastie Boys Fans that gew up with the beastie boys and their unique sound. These guys were and still are a great influence to me and many of my friends!....

Hip Hop received a great shock yesterday with the announcement that Beastie Boys’ Adam “MCA” Yauch died at 47 years old. The cause of death was later confirmed as related to his three-year struggle with cancer, which most recently prevented him from joining his fellow band members for their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month. While his mother and an official press release confirmed his death, several rappers spoke out on the inspiration that Beastie Boys had on their career. “Adam Yaucht brought a lot of positivity into the world and I think it's obvious to anyone how big of an influence the Beastie Boys were on me and so many others," said Eminem in a statement. "They are trailblazers and pioneers and Adam will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, Mike D., and Ad-Rock.” Rakim also shared his thoughts, explaining how grave the loss is for the culture...

Tribute to Heavy D RIP!...Mix - In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Heavy D was one of hip-hop’s most popular and charismatic figures, a girthy slickster who was an eager seducer and was unafraid of the dance floor. He was the frontman of Heavy D & the Boyz, which became the first act signed to Uptown Records, the label that was integral in building the bridge between hip-hop and R&B. Heavy D, the smooth-talking and cheerful rapper who billed himself as “the overweight lover M.C.,” died in Los Angeles on Tuesday. He was 44...Heavy D was and is one of my beggest influences.
