A live set I played a few years ago at one of the F.O.R.C.E. events in Perth Western Australia.

It has been a while since I have done a breaks mix so here you go!

Second release of the Nitelife series, now in the vision of Angelika.
This release is inspired in Cancun, Mexico. One of the most important touristic destinations in Mexico located in Quintana Roo. It’s a paradisiac place with beautiful beaches, islands and without any doubt an incredible night life.
Being this release in charge of Angelika, we could appreciate the distinctive progressive touch of this set.
In the same way as the first Nitelife, CD1 portrays the club life while the second CD portrays the Afterparty.
We could hear that the mood of CD2 is deeper and denser, while CD1 has a more nostalgic touch and the tracks evokes the concept of “the night club”

I think that my own Global Underground Mexico 001 and 002 are way better than the official GU 032

The inner force of progressive house, progressive trance, breakbeat and a bit of ambient in 2 CDs. Let the music flow and awake your inner force through 18 outstanding tracks.

Dual 001, first entrance of the “Dual” concept, this is a concept where I want to put two styles, two projects as part of a same DJ Set. In this first Dual, on CD1 is my project “Angelika”, this is a project focused on Progressive House and Progressive Trance. On CD2 is my project “ektorBarajas” bending the genres Breakbeat and Progressive. As with other DJ Sets that have various volumes (My Deep Nostalgia, Global Underground Mexico, Nitelife, etc.) with Dual I want to keep on exploring and exploiting this concept. I’m interested in launching other projects or “aliases” focused on different electronic genres like Club House, Deep House, Electro, Psychedelic, etc. So it’s probably that for Dual 002 a new project or alias will make his/her debut. I want to thank all who have taken the time to download and listen my music, to all my friends and relatives that have supported me to continue with my hobby of being a DJ.

Nitelife:A DJ Set where the nitelife (Night Life) is expressed by the music. The night begins in the Club and then we move on to the Afterparty, 2 CDs DJ Set. For the Nitelife DJ set I wanted to differentiate both CDs, making the second one more deep and dense, not only to mark the musical difference but to generate the proper atmosphere and mood to transport us to an “Afterparty”. Nitelife also captures the nocturne life of the electronic music, a journey that beings with deep and club house and ends with the interest fusion of progressive trance and breakbeat CD2: AfterpartyAnd afterparty is a party that took place after the night club, only the most hardcore clubbers continue with the Afterparty Genres: Progressive House, Progressive Trance, Breakbeat, Deep House.
