After a 3 year hiatus, I am back with the newest installment of a choice selected mix. LoveHate represents how I feel about the scene right now upon my return. The "Love" that I have for the music, the people and the craft of Turntablism and being a DJ are present here. The "Hate" that I have for the way the newest generation(s) is learning the ways of the scene, the way people are treated now when it comes to the way they show emotion fr this music we all love and (my favorite) the way that music is played out in the club or even house parties. When did it become ok to auto-sync, hot cue and show no talent while being a "DJ"? I came up in the era of digging for your music at record stores and any place you may happen to find that track that makes everyone move. Not downloading the Beatport Top 40 and acting like you are cool or special because you played the same playlist as everyone else lol!
